Film Submissions
Submissions Now Open for the 2013 Provincetown International Film Festival!
PIFF prefers online entries submitted via Withoutabox.com, which provides cost-saving, paperless submission to film festivals around the world. Films may be submitted in the following categories:
Shorts
Any short film, narrative, experimental, animated, or documentary under 30 minutes in length.
Documentary Feature
Feature-length documentaries over 50 minutes in running time.
Animated Feature
Feature-length animated films over 50 minutes in running time.
Student Short
A subcategory for any short film, narrative, experimental, animated, or documentary under 30 minutes in length and completed by a filmmaker enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate level film program during completion of the work.
**Students must include a copy of their valid student I.D. with film submission.
Narrative Feature
Narrative features over 50 minutes in running time.
- All accepted films are eligible for the HBO Audience Awards
- Juried awards for Student short, Live Action Short and Animated Short
- John Schlesinger Memorial Award presented to a first time feature filmmaker
Films Must have been completed after June 1, 2011.
Submissions Close February 22, 2013.
