Provincetown International Film Festival Receives Grant from National Endowment for the Arts
The Provincetown International Film Festival has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. 823 of the 1,686 eligible applications for the Art Works projects were funded. According the Chairman Rocco Landesman, These projects demonstrate the imaginative and innovative capacities of artists and arts organizations to enhance the quality of life in their communities.”
On the same day, the Provincetown Film Society received a $200,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council/MassDevelopment Cultural Facilities Fund. A 1:1 Matching grant, the funds will go toward the renovation and purchase of new equipment for the Film Society's year-round home at the Cinema in Whalers Wharf.
