– Submissions are now open for the 12th Annual Provincetown International Film Festival -
Provincetown, MA (October 26, 2009)—The 12th Annual Provincetown International Film Festival will take place June 16-20, 2010 in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Executive Director Gabrielle Hanna, Artistic Director Connie White and Director of Programming Andrew Peterson have announced that the festival is taking submissions for all narrative, documentary and short films. HBO Audience Awards will be given for the Best Short (a $1,000 prize given), the Best Narrative Feature ($1,500 prize given) and the Documentary ($1,500 prize given). A jury will select the Best Student Short Award (winner receives a software package). The submissions deadline is February 26, 2010.
Hanna also announced today that these organizations have given the festival the following grants for 2010 to date: The Massachusetts Cultural Council Recovery Grant ($10,000 granted) and the Massachusetts Cultural Council Organizational Support Grant ($4,400 granted).
