From security through airport terminal to boarding and takeoff, UNITED 93 recreates (in near-real time) the events preceding the tragic attacks on 9/11/2001 and offers a perspective on the brave action of passengers aboard United Flight 93, whose quick thinking and utter courage prevented their terrorist hijackers from realizing their intended mission.

Although universally acclaimed upon its release, the bold UNITED 93 had difficulty finding an audience – considered too intense or controversial by many moviegoers. However, the filmmakers’ careful research and actors’ detailed depictions (family members of all flight passengers were consulted in the making of) resulted in a riveting and poignant, lasting tribute.
