• The Provincetown International Film Festival (PIFF) shows narrative, documentary and animated features and shorts in 35mm, DVD, DigiBeta, and BETA SP video.
• Film must have been completed after January 1, 2005.
• Please download the entry form below, complete, sign and include it with your submission. Entry fee is $25 for a short (under 55 min.) and $35 for a feature. There is a student price of $15 for a short and $25 for a feature. Students must include a copy of their valid student I.D. with film submission. Payment may be made via MasterCard, VISA, American Express, check or money order.
• Student films will be included with the general submissions, but there will also be a juried student competition.
• A preview copy (DVD preferred – NTSC only, or 1/2” VHS NTSC format) must be labeled with the title, running time and contact information (including name, address, phone number and email address). Preview copies will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
• In addition to your DVD or tape submission, please send photos, stills and press kits (DVD preferred, with high resolution jpegs), filmmaker bio, reviews or other publicity materials you may have. If your work is selected, photos will be used for promotion and for the PIFF web site and catalog.
• Acknowledgment of receipt of your entry will be made by email. Please include an email address with your submission for this purpose. Preview cassettes and support materials will not be returned (unless accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope). You will be notified of acceptance or rejection by April 30, 2007.
• PIFF does not pay rental fees for submitted works which are programmed.
• PIFF will pay return shipping for the film (exhibition copy) within the Continental U.S. It is the filmmaker’s responsibility to get the film to the festival by June 8, 2007 at the latest.
• The submission deadline (postmarked) is Friday, February 16, 2007.
